On the IT department, we build digital services that make a difference – exciting development is underway here related to several major assignments. We work with distributed microservice architecture, container platforms, and Java, in an environment where both custom-developed and standard systems meet. Now we are looking for you who want to contribute your skills, engagement, and curiosity. Here you will work in a cross-functional team that collaborates closely and uses agile working methods. We are an IT department that likes to solve problems and develop together.

Responsibilities

Do you want to contribute to developing and managing public-interest IT operations? We are looking for an engaged IT Specialist who wants to work in an environment where technology meets public benefit.

As an IT Specialist within the IT department, you will have a central role by driving, planning, and following up on work within our IT development. You act as the link between the IT production-related operations and IT, with a focus on translating operational needs into concrete IT solutions and ensuring that development and maintenance are carried out in a structured manner with the right priorities.

The role includes planning, coordinating, and following up on activities within IT development and maintenance. You collaborate closely with IT production-related operations to capture needs, requirements, and improvement proposals, and you support the teams in their daily work. As an IT Specialist, you participate in prioritizing and planning development efforts together with operational representatives, and you act as support in communication between different parts of the organization and external partners. You coordinate and follow up on ongoing projects and assignments to ensure that our deliveries are achieved.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • an academic education or equivalent work experience that the employer considers relevant for the assignment,
  • several years of current experience in planning, steering, coordinating, and follow-up within IT development,
  • several years of current experience working in close collaboration with operations and IT to develop and implement solutions that support operational needs,
  • several years of current experience driving assignments and teams according to agile methods,
  • very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing,
  • good knowledge of English.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience of IT work within government or other public operations,
  • experience working in the planning tools Antura, Jira, and Confluence,
  • several years of experience in operational development within production-related IT,
  • several years of experience in change management.

You collaborate well with others and contribute to an open and constructive work climate. At the same time, you work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and dare to act based on your own convictions. You are structured, plan and prioritize your work in an efficient manner, and maintain good order even when the pace is high.
