Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We pay out approximately 260 billion SEK every year. Therefore, we think differently and use the latest technology to simplify, improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Within the area of Case Management Support, we develop and maintain the general parts of the Agency's case management system used for all benefits, such as child allowance and disability pension. User experience and accessibility are important because the case management support is used daily by our more than 10,000 case handlers.

Experienced System Developer with a Technical Focus

As a system developer with a technical focus with us, you will work in one of our development teams that work with both the development, operation, and maintenance of our systems. You will contribute to building socially important functions. You will work in an agile team where initiative, responsibility, and flexibility are fundamental, and where you together are responsible for planning, refining, and implementing within given frameworks.

Since we work with continuous improvements and further development of our systems, you will have the opportunity to use both your curiosity and your technical interest. You are expected to collaborate well with others, value quality, and have a desire to develop together with us. To thrive, we would like you to be a natural networker who enjoys interacting with different parts of the agency. You are structured, analytical, and have a pedagogical streak. You have the ability to see the big picture but can go into detail when needed.

You are accustomed to making decisions of both a technical and functional nature.

We are looking for you who

• have a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
• have in-depth knowledge and experience of incident and problem management and monitoring
• have experience of agile working methods
• act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
• have a systematic and meticulous way of working
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both verbal and written.

It is an advantage if you have

• experience with Axway Automator
• experience working according to DevOps
• experience working according to ITIL
• experience with requirements analysis, testing, or quality assurance
• experience with container-based development and operation environments, e.g., OpenShift
• previous experience from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

Other

One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
