About the operation:

Our IT department ensures an efficient and appropriate IT environment for the entire municipality. We are responsible for the operation and management of the IT environment, including the purchase and delivery of computers. We provide support to both employees and elected officials.

We lead the municipality's digitalization work and planned development and support managers and employees in both strategic and operational IT issues. Collaboration is key for us, and we work closely together with administrations, other municipalities, and the region to achieve our common goals.

At Härnösand Municipality, we have begun our journey towards a transition to a more modern digital platform to improve the conditions for the operation to deliver value to citizens, entrepreneurs, and visitors. This transition involves both adaptations according to national action plans, laws, and directives, as well as the implementation of new technology such as AI. One of the most important deliveries in this work is the introduction of Microsoft 365.

About the position:

We are now looking for an engaged employee to the IT department who can contribute with several years of experience in introducing, developing, and managing the municipality's IT environment and the applications contained in a hybrid environment. Contribute to our journey towards national standards and strategies such as Ena 2030 and GSIM.

In the role, you will work with one or more of the areas below based on qualifications. The role involves that you both manage, implement technical changes, and ensure that the solutions work in collaboration with technicians and based on the needs of the operation. In your role, you act as both executor and advisor, and you are responsible for monitoring news and changes.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in operational work as an IT technician
• Worked operationally within IT security
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
• Good knowledge of PowerShell
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Passed high school diploma
• Class B driver's license

Meritorious:

It is meritorious if you have competence in one or more of the areas below:

• Experience with Azure/Entra and Microsoft 365
• In-depth knowledge within IT security
• Experience with IT architecture
• Experience with e-services, RPA, integration engines, and AI agents
• Leading or participating in projects
