We are now looking for an HR Consultant for the Personnel Department in Arvika Municipality, as one of our colleagues has chosen to move on to new challenges. The Personnel Department's mission is to develop and manage the municipality's personnel issues and provide qualified support to the municipality's managers in their leadership and business development.

Here, you will become part of an engaged and competent HR team consisting of seven HR consultants today. Within the Personnel Department, there are also ten employees within payroll, as well as our Recruitment and Competence Center, which supports the group-wide recruitment, staffing, and training. Together, we work to develop Arvika Municipality as an attractive and sustainable employer.

We are looking for someone who enjoys switching between strategic development work and operational support in everyday life. You have an analytical approach and the ability to translate ideas and needs into concrete solutions that create value for the business.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of HR Consultant, we see that you have:

  • An academic degree in personnel and working life.
  • Several years of experience in qualified and broad HR work.
  • Good knowledge of labor law and experience in applying labor law processes and union negotiations.
  • Previous experience of consultative HR support to managers.
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package.

It is also meritorious if you as an HR Consultant also have:

  • Previous experience in the public sector.
  • Previous experience in healthcare and social care.

Area of Responsibility

As an HR Consultant, you work closely with the managers of the operations and provide qualified support in both daily and strategic HR issues. The role involves a broad HR mandate with a particular focus on labor law and labor law processes.

  • Drive and handle labor law cases.
  • Represent the employer in union negotiations.
  • Provide support to managers in interpreting and applying laws and agreements.
  • Work with cooperation, wage formation, and collective agreement issues.
  • Contribute to organizational and change processes.

You also work broadly within the HR area, for example with:

  • Work environment and rehabilitation.
  • Manager and employee support.
  • Competence supply and development issues.

An important part of the role is to educate, inspire, and create understanding in the organization. You give presentations, lead training, and drive information initiatives within the HR area.

The work also involves administrative parts, such as documentation, minutes, and follow-up related to cases and negotiations.
