About the Company

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a music teacher for an upper secondary school in Västerås for teaching in grades 7-9. The position starts on August 6th. The length of employment varies depending on whether you are certified or not. If you are a certified and eligible music teacher, there is an opportunity for a permanent position at the school. If you are not certified, the assignment runs until August 18, 2027. Teaching is conducted on Thursdays, with working hours scheduled from 08:00-17:00 on these days. As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning the activities, which means you have two hours of planning time per week that you can schedule on any day of the week. We are looking for you who want to share your passion for music with the students and create teaching that both engages and develops. As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning and conducting music education according to current governing documents. You create a safe and creative learning environment where students can express themselves through singing, playing, and music creation.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who is either a certified music teacher, currently undergoing training to become a music teacher, or who has other experience that we assess as equivalent. You have an easy time building trusting relationships with students and create a safe and creative learning environment. As a person, you are engaged, structured, and pedagogical, with the ability to make teaching both enjoyable and educational. We see that you are comfortable with promoting students' creative thinking through interactive learning environments.
