At Kungsängsgymnasiet, we offer both an introduction program and several vocational programs with the goal of providing students with good prerequisites for success in their studies. We are now looking for an engaged mathematics teacher who wants to make a difference.

About the workplace

Kungsängsgymnasiet currently has approximately 470 students and is a comprehensive upper secondary school with eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. We actively work to help students succeed better, supported in this work by the school development project "Samverkan Bästa Skola" (Collaboration Best School). The atmosphere at the school is good, with a very high proportion of qualified teachers. We are a school where it is important that students and staff are seen, and where there are short paths to various forms of support.

Your responsibilities

• Teach mathematics at the compulsory school and upper secondary school levels.
• Work both within the introduction program and on our vocational programs, where students may need teaching adapted to the group's needs. Teach in smaller groups based on individual timetables and study sessions.
• Promote an adapted and safe classroom environment where every student has the opportunity to develop at their own pace.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the student health team to create a holistic approach to each student's development.

We are looking for you who

• Have a teaching license with qualifications in mathematics at the compulsory school and upper secondary school levels.
• We would prefer that you have an additional subject in your qualifications or are a special education teacher in mathematics.
• Have experience working with students who have a great need for relational leadership.
• Are flexible, responsive, and have a genuine interest in each student's development.
• Enjoy working in a team and contributing to a positive school environment.

Terms of employment

Individual salary setting

Start date: June 10, 2026, or as agreed

Requirement for a certificate of good conduct upon offer of employment. This is according to the Act on Register Control in School, Leisure, and Preschool Activities. The Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14)
