Are you looking for a job where you can and want to make a difference in someone else's life? If you believe in people's own abilities and want to contribute to positive changes, this job might be for you!

Who are we?

The Social Services Office in Norrköping Municipality puts the individual's needs at the center. It should be easy to get help. We maintain high quality based on legally secure assessments. We want to find solutions close to the individual and contribute to positive change for them. Together, we create security and good social services for those living in Norrköping.

This position is located within the adult activities of the Social Services Office and belongs to what we call the Resource Team.

We serve individuals with extensive and complex care needs, where ongoing substance abuse is often combined with mental and/or physical disabilities. This is an important mission that we carry out with great commitment and pride.

The work group you are welcomed into is a secure team with high morale and good camaraderie, where colleagues stay for a long time!

In addition to the described mission, there are other teams on the unit, such as: Housing First, Joint Team, Outreach Workers, and the Social Housing Team. As we see that the demand for our work has increased, we need to expand with additional competent colleagues. We offer a broad assignment where you can vary across the different teams depending on where the need is greatest.

This opens up opportunities for professional development through varied tasks and the chance to gain experience from several areas. The common thread is that regardless of the team, we work to support the individual's own abilities and be a secure point for people who need it most.

Your responsibilities

Working as a staff member in the Resource Team requires great flexibility and often involves a high work pace. In your role, collaboration with other authorities in society as well as cooperation with relatives and the client's other network will be part of your core tasks. Depending on which team you work within, the tasks may vary slightly, but the main basic assignment is the same.

Our working method is both overarching from a holistic view of the client and involved organizations, as well as client-near work. We work, among other things, with a method called "Case Management" and have the starting point of having a helicopter view to see the whole picture.

You assess and facilitate appropriate interventions for the client, initiate these, and follow up over time to ensure they have the desired effect. The role offers a variation of working close to clients in the environments they operate in, while you are also expected to document and administer carefully. You and your colleagues have close collaboration where you support each other in situations that may arise.

When you start your position with us, you will be welcomed with a thorough introduction that prepares you for the upcoming challenges and tasks that this type of role entails.

Does it sound interesting? Do you want to be part of making a difference? Then we might be looking for you!

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are educated as a social pedagogue at university level, a social worker, or a behavioral scientist, or alternatively another university education that the employer considers equivalent.

To have the right prerequisites to succeed in the role, we see that you have previous experience working with addiction care, psychiatry, dual diagnosis, and other social work within our target group.

We strive for colleagues in our unit to complement each other regarding both education and experience as well as personality. You are welcomed by a group with good competence in the area where you can exchange experiences and develop together.

At our workplace, no day is like the other, which presupposes that you are flexible and thrive in a changing environment. To succeed in the role, you need to have good empathetic ability without taking over the client's feelings.

You enjoy working at a high pace and can quickly adapt when an acute situation arises. We also see that you have good endurance and drive to motivate our clients even in life's toughest moments.

You are positive and find drive and engagement in being involved in both business development and client work.

If you have been trained in working according to the R-act model, this is something we see as positive.

If you have competence and experience regarding ADHD/Autism spectrum disorders (NPF), this is an advantage.

The work requires a manual B driver's license and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
