Personal Assistant for a 16-year-old girl

At Poolarna Assistans, we are now looking for a warm, secure, and engaged personal assistant for a teenager.

Here you will find a varied and meaningful job where you become an important part of the customer's daily life and join a wonderful assistant team.

Hourly employment starting immediately, with the possibility of permanent employment later on.

Working hours:

Day/evening scheduled between 14:15–21:00 and awake night 21:00–09:15. Other times may occur on days off.

You will always work together with another assistant, known as double assistance.

The work is based at the customer's home, but you will also accompany them to activities, doctor's visits, habilitation services, etc.

The job involves ensuring our customer has a good day by helping with personal care, medication management, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), KP (likely referring to specific care protocols or personal care), and documentation.

Most importantly, however, is creating fun moments through activities such as music, reading books, bathing, playing with balls, walks, etc.

The work can be physically demanding and involve lifting and transfers. Assistive devices are available in the home.

We are looking for you who

Are secure, sensitive, and responsible, flexible, and able to adapt to different situations.

Requirements for applicants:

• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own car.
• Can provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).

Experience in healthcare and social care is meritorious, but personal suitability is most important to us.
