Do you want to work in an operation where relationships, participation, and people's opportunities are at the center?

We are looking for an engaged and secure employee for a combined position within supported housing (boendestöd) and short-term stays according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The position offers varied and meaningful work where you will meet both adults and children with different support needs.

About the Operations

Supported housing is aimed at individuals who need support to create structure, independence, and participation in daily life. Short-term stays according to LSS offer children and young people a secure and developmental environment while providing relief for the family.

What both operations have in common is that we work in a person-centered way, starting from each individual's strengths, wishes, and conditions. We place great emphasis on good treatment, clarity, participation, and creating predictability and security in daily life.

Job Responsibilities

As a supported housing worker and staff member in short-term care, you will among other things:

  • Provide individually adapted support based on the individual's receptiveness, needs, and goals
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining independence and participation
  • Plan and carry out activities and interventions together with the individual
  • Motivate and support in everyday situations and social contexts
  • Collaborate with relatives and other key actors
  • Document according to current legislation and the operation's routines
  • Contribute to the development and quality work of the operations

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Have education in care and nursing, therapeutic pedagogy, social pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
  • Have experience working with people with disabilities and/or mental health issues
  • Are secure, responsible, and have good collaboration skills
  • Have the ability to work independently while being an active part of the work group
  • Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Have a B-class driver's license

Experience with LSS, social psychiatry, clarifying pedagogy, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-arousal approach is meritorious.

Employment Type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
Working Hours: Scheduled working hours during days, evenings, and weekends.
