The Rehabilitation Unit is an independent profit center that is now part of Primary Care in Central Östergötland (NSC). The unit provides occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers (counselors) for certain clinics within NSC. The Rehabilitation Unit is undergoing reorganization and is now part of NSC and Movement & Health.

Job Description

The duties of a counselor (social worker) with us involve psychosocial work consisting of support conversations with patients and relatives, as well as advice and guidance on social issues. Since we work with chronically ill patients, work with acceptance is central. The work is stimulating and requires initiative and good collaboration skills. The unit consists of five counselors who work towards different units within NSC. Part of the assignment focuses on rehabilitation coordination at the Rheumatology Clinic, and to a lesser extent, assisting at other units within the center.

About You

You who are applying are a licensed healthcare counselor (social worker). You have a degree in social work, preferably with Step 1 training. Merit-worthy is experience from the rheumatological field or alternatively experience from working within healthcare.

We are now looking for a counselor at 100% to the Rehabilitation Unit, primarily located at the Rheumatology Clinic within outpatient/inpatient care at the University Hospital in Linköping. Part of the assignment at the Rheumatology Clinic involves the role of a rehabilitation coordinator. Furthermore, the position involves assisting to a lesser extent at other clinics within the Rehabilitation Unit, Movement & Health.
