About the Workplace
Valthornsgatan is a group home with six apartments in a quiet villa area in Ullstämma. Here, each person lives in their own apartment with access to common areas.

About the Role
As a Support Pedagogue, you have pedagogical development responsibility and an important role in the team. You work both directly with users and in developing working methods together with colleagues.
You support individuals with intellectual, psychiatric, and/or physical disabilities in their daily lives, with the goal of creating a meaningful life where independence and involvement are central.
Your responsibilities include among other things:
- Provide support in daily life, care, health, and leisure
- Plan, implement, and follow up on individual interventions
- Work based on implementation plans and IBIC (Individual's Needs at the Center)
- Document and ensure quality of interventions
- Act as a contact person and collaborate with relatives, authorities, and healthcare
- Support communication and involvement in society
- Perform delegated health and medical care tasks
The role also includes:
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues in pedagogical methods
- Contributing to the development of working methods and quality in the operations
- Working with methods such as clarifying pedagogy, low-affective handling, and alternative communication
Practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and cooking are included as a natural part of the work.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has education as a Support Pedagogue or equivalent education
- Has experience working within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and the target group
- Has knowledge of pedagogical working methods and approaches
- Communicates well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Has good digital skills and experience with documentation
- Applies low-affective handling (calm and non-escalating interaction)
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- IBIC and implementation plans
- Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC)

Working Hours
The operations are staffed 24/7, all year round.
Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends. Sleeping on-call duties are included.
