Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary according to the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We would like you to be someone who enjoys when things happen, takes initiative, and suggests activities you can do together.

We are now looking for you who fits the following:

• want to work for a 26-year-old male living in Mjölby

• have good knowledge of Swedish

• can work in households with fur-bearing animals; a dog lives in the client's home

• have previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a comparable care profession

• have good physical fitness and can perform transfers

It is also meritorious if you:

• have previous experience using transfer aids

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary:

Position 1: Employment type "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 72%, 29 hours/week. Working hours are Tuesdays 15:00-22:00, Wednesdays 07:00-15:00, and Fridays 07:00-15:00, as well as every other weekend in even weeks. During the weekend, shifts are on both Saturday and Sunday.

Position 2: Employment type "hourly employment," which means work on an as-needed basis. Working hours are either during the day 07:00-15:00 or evenings 15:00-22:00. Shifts can be on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations occur according to collective agreements.

Start immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana
