Do you like feeling needed? Are you looking for a job that is challenging, stimulating, and fun? We are looking for a new colleague to the Support Services department's Short-term and Leisure Activities for Young People.

At Fyrklövern, we work day/evening/weekends and nights to meet the needs of children and young people with various functional variations. We believe that with humor and acceptance, you can go far. We are a small group working closely together with a wonderful sense of community. We share responsibility for creating the best possible activities for the children and young people we are responsible for, contributing to a daily life that feels safe, manageable, and meaningful. We plan and carry out activities. We focus on the individual's needs and always provide a friendly and professional approach. The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach as well as a low-affective and respectful attitude towards the young people and colleagues. You have engaged colleagues, an accessible manager, continuous group supervision, and great opportunities for participation and further development of the activities.

What we expect of you

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to the target group, who is responsible, solution-focused, and has a professional attitude. You have an interest in the development of children and young people and, of course, a positive attitude. You are secure, humble, respectful, have a good ability to listen, a good understanding of your surroundings, see benefits in differences, and enjoy meeting other people. You have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize in daily work, as well as inspire and motivate others.

Qualifications

Post-secondary adequate education such as assistant nurse, support educator, treatment assistant, or similar is meritorious.

Experience of work within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and group homes. Experience of care work and competence in NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), clarifying pedagogy, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.

Good computer skills, experience of social documentation, and the ability to express yourself well both orally and in writing.
