About the position

Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

Our client is a 34-year-old man living in Linköping who enjoys being outdoors when the weather is nice. His individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Good physical fitness
• Non-smoker
• Valid B-driver's license (manual), as you will drive the client's car for work

Merits for the position:

• Experience working as a personal assistant or similar role
• Experience with low-affective interaction (calm and structured approach)
• Experience with floor lifting
• Ability to speak Arabic (Syrian dialect) or Kurmanji

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on demand where shifts may occur on weekdays and weekends. There are varying working hours during the day, evening, and/or night. There are also shorter morning and evening shifts for double staffing.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to collective agreements.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
