We are looking for a special needs teacher (specialpedagogue) for Backa Friskola in Molkom, starting in the autumn term of 2026.

The position is 50–100% depending on agreement.

About you

You are a certified special needs teacher or currently studying towards this qualification. You have at least five years of experience working in a school setting.

You are responsible, solution-oriented, and flexible. You have an open mind and are interested in collaborating with your colleagues to develop and test new pedagogical methods.

You share the association’s vision, values, and goals.

Professional work experience and proficiency in data systems are required.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching individually and in small groups.
• Provide in-class support during regular lessons.
• Support students during leisure time.
• Holiday school and homework assistance.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and subject teachers.
• Participate in staff meetings and EHT (Educational and Health Team) meetings.
• Document student development and learning.
• Assist the special pedagogue with mapping students' needs for special support, as well as writing and evaluating action plans.
