About the Position

The Junior Trader is the heart of Handlarbudet's trading engine. You match cars with the right buyers, drive deals to closure, and keep the momentum going when others lose it. High pressure. Clear goals. An environment where your performance is visible the same day you deliver it. You work operationally, close to senior traders and the rest of the team, but your success is determined by how many deals you close and how efficiently you do it.

As a Junior Trader with us, you will receive a unique education in business acumen. You will learn to value assets, read market trends, and master negotiation techniques at a professional level.

Responsibilities

What you do every day:

  • Close deals: Drive incoming deals from the first conversation to closure.
  • Match the right car with the right buyer: Work quickly, accurately, and with a focus on business professionalism.
  • Own the follow-up: You don't wait for answers – you make sure to get them.
  • Clear obstacles: Identify what stands in the way of a deal and find solutions.
  • Ensure quality at every step: Keep CRM, documentation, and customer dialogues updated and structured.

What you bring

  • Background: Experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or a similar role where you have worked towards clear goals.
  • Sales drive: A natural drive to close deals and maintain a high activity level throughout the entire sales process.
  • Structure: Ability to work in a structured manner and maintain calm even during periods of high tempo.
  • System proficiency: Good digital competence and the ability to quickly get up to speed with new systems and work tools.
  • Languages: Fluent in Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

We apply rolling selection and will remove the ad when enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to find the candidate with the highest potential for the role, as well as to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process. The recruitment process also includes a background check where you need to be able to show a clean criminal record. The process includes interviews with Academic Work as well as two interviews with the hiring manager & founder.
