About the Position

Family Centre Floran in Åby is an established operation, consisting of a preschool teacher, two child health care nurses, a midwife, and a social worker. The operation's task is, among other things, to promote good health in children and parents based on the whole family's life situation by early detection and fulfillment of various needs. Floran is one of two family centres in Mölndal.

Responsibilities

As our current employee moves on to other work after many years, we are now looking for a new social worker who, through collaboration with the open preschool and primary care, shall work in a family-centered, health-promoting, early preventive, and supportive manner. The role also includes being a coordinator. This means working to ensure that the joint daily work functions, being a link to the steering group, and participating in various collaboration contexts. The coordination work is done largely together with the other coordinator.

Your tasks as a social worker at the family centre involve being attentive to the families' needs in a flexible but structured manner. Among other things, you will provide societal information, help the family expand their own network, facilitate contact with other professionals, offer and lead group activities, conduct motivational interviewing, and offer individual parenting support conversations. A large part of the social worker's work takes place in the open preschool together with the preschool educator.

We are looking for you who are an experienced social worker and have an easy time building good relationships with parents and colleagues. You have experience in social work with families with children, and we consider it a merit if you have experience working at a family centre.

You are secure and clear, planning, executing, and evaluating the work to create the best possible conditions for a stimulating environment for the families with children who visit Family Centre Floran.
