We are now looking for an engaged and caring personal assistant for a man in a wheelchair in central Ulricehamn. As an assistant, you will be an important part of the customer's daily life and provide support in various areas.

In this role, you will assist the customer with personal hygiene, meals, other daily activities, as well as help answer the phone and handle communication with external parties. You will be the customer's extended arms and legs, and your presence will make a real difference in his life. Just as important as stepping in when needed is having respect and understanding when you need to step back and let the customer have time for themselves.

Experience and Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Empathetic and patient, with the ability to listen and be supportive.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the customer's needs and wishes.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, sensitive, and has the ability to create a safe and trusting relationship with the customer. You are meticulous and reliable, and have the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed. It is important that you are compliant and respectful towards the customer's privacy and wishes. You have no issues with shoulders or back as some heavy lifting occurs in the work.

The position is 50% permanent with a rolling 2-week schedule. Mon-Sun, 10:00–19:30. Start as soon as possible.
