About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, your main task will be to help the customer with everyday situations and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer's individual needs dictate the workday. Tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities at home and outdoors. Our customer particularly enjoys activities such as bathing and having coffee outdoors in the sun.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is empathetic, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Good physical condition, as lifting is part of the job

Merits for the position:

• Experience working as a personal assistant or in similar roles within healthcare and social care
• Previous experience with stroke patients
• Previous experience with alternative communication methods, such as facial expressions and body language

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with an employment degree of approximately 100%. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening 08:00–20:00 and evening/night 20:00–08:00, with a 6-hour on-call duty at night. You must be available for all these shifts to be considered for this position. You will work a varied schedule including weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.
