Description

We are looking for you who want an exciting and varied assignment as a support assistant and work awake nights. In your assignment at Lindbacken, a respite care facility within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), you will work with children and young people belonging to the LSS target group. Job Responsibilities

To support the children and young people based on individual needs according to the situations that arise during the night. To work together with the unit manager, operations manager, and other staff according to the goals and guidelines established for the operations. You are expected to work according to individual implementation plans and established routines for each child/young person, based on professional interaction and clear pedagogical methods. The work involves working alone.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed the Care and Nursing Programme or the Child and Leisure Programme with a social focus, with passing grades. You may also have other education that the employer considers equivalent.

We are looking for you who have an interest in working with people belonging to the LSS target group, and you preferably have previous experience of working with children and young people. You should have a calm approach, the ability to work independently, and a professional attitude.

It is important to have the ability to reflect on your own approach, as well as the willingness and desire to work according to proven methods, be flexible, receptive, and unpretentious. You should have a positive view of people and find it easy to cooperate. Since problem-causing and challenging behavior occurs, experience of similar work and the ability to think preventively to minimize risks and threatening situations is required.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A B-category driver's license is meritorious.
