We are now looking for a personal assistant for a happy and active 8-year-old boy in Åmål. The position is part-time, with shifts primarily distributed across afternoons and weekends. During school holidays and breaks, there is an opportunity to work during the day.

The work involves being helpful to him and supporting him with daily routines. You will base your work from his home, which means you need to be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable interacting with both siblings and parents in the workplace.

You should be attentive, have a kind heart, and retain your inner child with a sense of imagination. A good physical condition is required as the role involves various activities such as walking, jumping on a trampoline, cycling, as well as sitting on the floor for extended periods to play.

Previous experience working with children and using low-arousal approaches is advantageous. Prior experience with Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) or visual supports is also viewed positively. Communication is important in this household, so you must have fluent Swedish skills in both speaking and writing. There is a dog in the household, so you must not be allergic or afraid of dogs.
