A-Train, which operates the Arlanda Express, is now looking for a Payroll Specialist who wants to step into a key role with significant autonomy and great opportunities to influence.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Payroll Specialist, you have overall responsibility for the company's payroll processing for approximately 220 employees. The role is broad and covers the entire payroll process from collecting data to payment, follow-up, and reporting.

You will have overall responsibility for the payroll function, meaning you will work both operationally and with developing, structuring, and streamlining processes and working methods. The role also includes HR administrative elements and participation in upcoming system implementations.

You report to the Chief People Officer and work closely with HR, Finance, and the business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full responsibility for the entire payroll process "from start to finish"
• Payroll preparation, controls, reconciliations, and payments
• Handling discrepancies such as shift allowances, overtime, absence, and unpaid leave
• Reporting to authorities, pensions, and insurance
• System responsibility for Hogia Payroll, time, and expense systems
• Support and advice to managers and employees
• Ensure compliance with laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines
• Drive improvement and digitalization initiatives within the payroll area
• Participate in the implementation of a new HR and scheduling system
• HR administration, such as onboarding and routines
• Produce monthly statistics for HR

YOUR BACKGROUND

We are looking for you who thrive in a role with significant personal responsibility within payroll.

We see that you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in qualified payroll work
• Experience in independently driving the entire payroll process
• Familiarity with complex payroll flows (e.g., shifts, allowances, varying working hours)
• Good system proficiency, preferably within Hogia
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English

It is an advantage if you have:

• Vocational Higher Education (YH) within payroll
• Experience with system implementations or integrations
• Experience with HR administrative tasks
