Preschool Teacher with a Special Development Assignment at Citronfjärilens Preschool

We are looking for someone who is experienced in leading groups, both children and colleagues, and who has the drive to further develop our preschool! You will contribute to creating the best learning environments where both children and adults thrive, develop, and achieve set goals. You will lead development work together with colleagues with similar assignments.

A preschool teacher with a special development assignment may, on the one hand, work with tasks that are part of the preschool teacher's regular duties, and on the other hand, contribute by:

• In consultation with the principal, initiate, support, and drive development issues to increase goal fulfillment through distributed leadership.
• Lead pedagogical discussions and projects to develop the operations and improve results.
• Stay updated on current research – scientific basis and proven experience – and have the ability to spread knowledge and professional skills to the staff.

The learning environments should support different organizational solutions, working methods, and approaches to stimulate the child to, in accordance with their individual prerequisites, wonder and acquire new abilities and learning. The operations should create conditions for creativity and curiosity. The operations are based on the premise that all children are different and have different needs. Every child should be given the opportunity to learn and develop according to their own prerequisites and needs in secure social interaction with others. This is reflected in attitudes, planning, and execution.

Citronfjärilens Preschool is a preschool where many different languages and cultures meet, located in the district of Lextorp.

Citronfjärilens Preschool is divided into four departments with groups for younger and older children. The focus of the operations is to work with a language and knowledge-developing approach with an intercultural attitude.

Qualifications

The requirements to be appointed as a preschool teacher with a special development assignment are that the applicant:

• Has a license as a preschool teacher according to the Education Act (2010:800).
• Has shown particularly good ability to plan, execute, reflect, and evaluate in systematic quality work based on the intentions of the curriculum.
• Develops operations with support from modern research and plans and teaches based on scientific basis and proven experience.
• Has a strong interest in developing the operations.
• Has an attitude that keeps focus on goal fulfillment through follow-up and analysis.
• Applies methods and has an attitude that makes each child's learning visible.
• Has the competence to choose and offer relevant learning tools.
• Creates and maintains good relationships with children, guardians, colleagues, and the principal.
• Has experience in driving change processes/projects at their own workplace from a distributed leadership perspective.

SÄVA (Special Fixed-Term Employment) 100%. Applies to the school year 2026/2027.
