Job Description

Our preschool is located in Länsmansgården, close to both green areas and a tram stop. Here, children get to explore, experience, and develop with nature as a natural part of everyday life. We work with a strong focus on outdoor pedagogy, where the yard, the forest, and other environments become important spaces for play and learning.

The children get to use their whole bodies and all their senses when discovering and investigating together. By blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, we create an environment where curiosity, imagination, and creativity can flourish. At our preschool, which has space for six departments for younger and older children, meals are prepared in our own kitchen.

You lead the pedagogical work together with colleagues in an engaged team. Together, you plan, implement, document, and follow up on the education based on the preschool curriculum. We believe in a working style where collaboration, responsibility, and clear communication are a natural part of everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified preschool teacher
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• have good knowledge of using digital tools in work

You take responsibility for both your own and the team's tasks and contribute to good cooperation.

You build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are also attentive in your approach and show respect and care for others.

You understand that children have different prerequisites and absorb knowledge in different ways. Based on this, you create a safe and developmental environment where every child gets the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

Experience in outdoor pedagogy is meritorious. However, the most important thing is that you have the will and interest to help develop our outdoor environments and pedagogical processes. Therefore, we also welcome recent graduates to apply.

At the Preschool Administration, you give children opportunities for a good future. Every day!

We are responsible for education and care for approximately 25,000 children in nearly 350 municipal preschools. The administration has around 7,000 employees distributed across approximately 75 professions. Together, we work towards the same goal – to develop a fun, safe, and educational preschool for all children in Gothenburg.
