Vällingklockan is a relatively new preschool located in the multicultural area of Kronogården, within walking and cycling distance to Innovatum, the library, playgrounds, and green areas. The building features abundant natural light, and preschool teachers and childcare assistants have had significant input and influence on its design.

The upper floor houses a library, an atelier, and a theater where aesthetic learning processes can take place. There are excellent opportunities to create learning environments both indoors and outdoors, characterized by creativity that sparks curiosity in both children and adults. Meals are prepared on-site and served in the Orangery on the lower floor.

Vällingklockan is a preschool with 8 day-care units offering education for children aged 1–5, as well as an out-of-school care (OB) unit providing pedagogical care for children aged 1–13.

Our area includes a Child Health Team that serves as support and a resource for the operations. The Child Health Team consists of special education teachers and counselors. They work at the individual, group, and organizational levels, with a focus on prevention and promotion.

The goal of the Education Administration's operations is to create equal conditions for our children and offer high-quality education.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for teaching and development work. The focus of the work is to build good relationships and give all children the best possible conditions to learn, play, and develop.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher. You are engaged, solution-focused, able to work independently, driven, confident in your professional role, and have a strong interest in children's learning. Being an active part of children's lifelong joyful learning is a given. You collaborate easily with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.

You are positive and believe that collaboration and a holistic perspective are important for the development of children and the preschool. You work with pedagogical documentation and use it as a basis for analysis, reflection, and development, and can utilize children's interests in the activities. You should have good knowledge of the governing documents that form the basis for preschool work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you complement the preschool's existing staff.
