The Department of Culture and Education aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our young and adult citizens need throughout different stages of life. The department consists of two divisions: the School Division and the Preschool and Culture and Leisure Division. The School Division includes all forms of schooling from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health services. The Preschool Division covers all municipal preschools and family day care, while Culture and Leisure consists of the library, music school, and youth activities.

Are you an engaged and experienced special needs teacher who is passionate about supporting students with special needs? Do you want to be part of an engaged team at the municipality's only secondary school?

Kungsmarksskolan has approximately 380 students from grade 7 to 9, including adapted basic education. We offer an stimulating work environment where you can make a difference and contribute to the students' future. You will work closely with our students in collaboration with our teachers and be part of our student health team. Together, we work to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and we are all important cogs in our school's development.

Description of the work

Your collaboration with the teachers is significant for adapting the teaching to the students' needs. You plan and implement individual and group-based educational interventions, as well as document and follow up on the students' development and progress. You will also plan our flexible group's activities and teach students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• are a licensed teacher and trained special needs teacher, or alternatively a licensed teacher with long experience working with students in need of adjustments and special support.
• have experience working with secondary school students.

As a person, you are secure and stable, and you actively contribute to a good work environment for both students and colleagues.
