Paradisskolan is now looking for an engaged and flexible teacher for a temporary position during the autumn term of 2026. The temporary position runs from the start of the autumn term 2026 until week 44, as a replacement for parental leave.

About the Position

In this temporary role, you will teach students in grades 5 and 6 in the following subjects:

• Physical Education and Health
• English
• Natural Sciences (NO)

You will become part of our working group for grades 4–6, where you will work closely with colleagues to create structure, security, and good learning environments for the students. Together, you will plan and follow up on teaching, group development, and support for student learning.

About Paradisskolan

Paradisskolan is located in Källstorp in western Trollhättan and has approximately 400 students from grades 4 to 9. We have a student group with great variation in language, experience, and background – something we see as a strength in the school's culture and teaching.

The school also offers an English Speaking Class (ESC) in certain subjects and welcomes students from all over Trollhättan as well as from many parts of the world.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are primarily a certified teacher and who combine deep subject knowledge with strong relational leadership. You lead teaching through clarity, warmth, and structure, and build trusting relationships that enable every student to reach their potential.

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health, English, and/or Natural Sciences for the current grade level
• alternatively have relevant subject competence and experience teaching grades 4–6
• build good relationships with students and create security, structure, and a conducive study environment
• have a warm and clear pedagogical leadership style
• plan varied and engaging teaching that meets students' different needs
• collaborate well in working groups and contribute positively to the school's development work
