Adeptum AB is looking for a System Developer with broad technical expertise in enterprise development, with a special focus on Java, ASP.NET, and modern distributed systems.

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in system development, architecture, and complex IT environments. This role is particularly suitable for you if you want to work practically with software development and share your knowledge through education.

About the role

As a System Developer at Adeptum AB, you will work on the development of larger enterprise systems, where requirements for scalability, operational reliability, redundancy, and security are central. You will also be involved in educational activities, where you are expected to be able to teach, mentor, and explain technical concepts in a clear and pedagogical manner.

The position is divided between software development and education, with approximately half of the working time expected to consist of education-related tasks and the remaining part of development work.

Responsibilities

The role includes among other things:

• developing and further developing enterprise applications
• working with Java Enterprise, Java Server Faces, and MicroProfile
• participating in the architectural design of larger system solutions
• working with systems where multiple nodes, services, and databases interact
• using modern agentic working methods and tools
• creating and conducting training within system development, IT infrastructure, and related areas
• mentoring participants/students in technical tasks and projects

We are looking for you who have:

• good knowledge of Java and enterprise development
• experience with ASP.NET or equivalent .NET-based web development
• Understanding of architectural design and system structure
• Experience with larger system environments and distributed applications
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for technical solutions
• Good pedagogical skills and interest in education
• Good ability to communicate technical solutions clearly

It is an advantage if you also have experience or knowledge in:

• Cybersecurity
• Network administration
• Server administration
• Server hardware
• Databases and database infrastructure
• Operation of systems with high availability requirements
• Container-based or distributed environments
