On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a technically strong test developer to join a development team within the defense industry in Gothenburg. This role is perfect for you if you thrive close to development and want to work with automated testing, quality assurance, and modern development processes in complex systems.

The position is a direct hire, meaning the recruitment process is handled through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client. All questions regarding the role and recruitment should be directed to the responsible recruitment consultant at Futuria.

Our client operates within advanced technology development and works with product-oriented development in complex environments where human interaction, technology, and safety must function together. The operations are located in Gothenburg and consist of cross-functional teams with high technical competence in areas such as system development, mechanics, and product development.

The company develops technical solutions and products where user interaction with the systems is crucial for functionality, safety, and efficiency. The projects are long-term and characterized by high quality requirements, technical complexity, and close collaboration between different disciplines.

You will become part of an established development team where the focus is on quality assurance through test development and test automation. This is a replacement recruitment, meaning you will play a key role in the team's continued work to ensure high quality and stable delivery.

You will work closely with developers and other technical specialists to verify and ensure the quality of software throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining automated tests
• Working with integration tests, system tests, and other tests outside the unit test level
• Analyzing test results and troubleshooting identified deviations
• Collaborating with development teams to improve testability and quality
• Contributing to the development of efficient workflows within testing and quality assurance
• Being a key part of ensuring the team's delivery capability and quality level

• Has at least 5 years of experience in test development, test automation, or software development with a clear focus on testing
• Has experience developing automated tests
• Has worked with tests outside the unit test level
• Has good programming skills
• Has experience with modern development environments

Experience with CI/CD environments and automated quality flows is considered a merit.
