The parental cooperative preschool Kottar & Barr in Älvsåker is now looking for an experienced nursery teacher who wants to become part of a small, dedicated preschool with a strong nature profile and high educational quality.

About the preschool

Kottar & Barr has been in operation since 1999 and consists of approximately 20 children aged 1–6. We work in small child groups with high staff density and experienced colleagues. The preschool is located close to nature, a few kilometers from central Kungsbacka, within walking distance of Anneberg commuter station.

We are a parental cooperative, which means close collaboration with guardians and an operation with short decision-making paths and a strong focus on the best interests of the children and staff. We have good finances and currently have 6 employees.

Our profile

We work based on the "I Ur och Skur" pedagogy, where teaching takes place in authentic environments and the children's curiosity, participation, and learning are at the center. Our teaching is permeated by experience-based learning and sustainable development – and the educators are always present in the children's processes.

About the position

As a nursery teacher with us, you work:

• based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool
• together with the children in both planned and spontaneous teaching
• with a special pedagogical approach
• independently as well as together with colleagues

We are looking for someone who

• is a qualified nursery teacher with several years of professional experience
• is confident in your role and accustomed to independent work
• has knowledge of special pedagogical methods
• enjoys working outdoors, in nature and forests year-round
• has good collaboration skills and creates secure relationships
• has a genuine commitment to the best interests of children and a view of children characterized by care, respect, and presence

Employment
