The role of high school teacher with us
You will teach students at the Introduction Programme, where teaching often requires flexibility, creativity, and a deep understanding of students in need of special support. At our school, we work based on the belief that good relationships are the foundation for learning and that school development happens together. We offer an stimulating working environment where you become part of an engaged team characterized by collaboration, innovation, and a shared responsibility for the students' development.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Teach mathematics and physics (possibly in other subjects) with a focus on accessible learning and high goal achievement.
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on students' individual needs and prerequisites.
- Work actively with relational leadership to create motivation, security, and study environment.
- Act as a mentor and support students' knowledge-based, social, and personal development.
- Collaborate with guardians, student health services, social services, and other external actors when the student's needs require it.
- Participate in and drive joint teaching arrangements together with colleagues in the team.
- Carry out development initiatives together with the team, focusing on collective learning.
- Contribute to the school's systematic quality work and development work.
Your profile
You have a strong relational approach and see relationships as a central part of students' learning and development. You are confident in the role of mentor and have an easy time creating trusting and professional relationships with students, guardians, and partners. With genuine engagement, you see strengths and opportunities in every student and work to ensure that everyone gets the best conditions to succeed.
As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and well-organized. You take initiative, work solution-oriented, and have the endurance required to drive the work forward even when challenges arise. At the same time, you are unpretentious and generous in sharing your knowledge and experiences.
You enjoy working with others and see collaboration as an important prerequisite for successful teaching and a positive work environment. You have the courage to think new thoughts, are open to development, and want to actively contribute to strengthening and developing the operations. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We are looking for you who:
- Are a certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics and physics for elementary school or high school.
- Have extensive experience working with youth in need of special support.
- Have good knowledge of adaptations, differentiated teaching, and accessible learning environments.
- Have experience in school development, change work, and/or collegial learning.
It is meritorious if you have:
- qualifications in additional subjects

We offer a permanent full-time position starting in August or as agreed.
