Do you want to be an important part of patient rehabilitation?

We are now looking for an engaged and structured rehabilitation assistant to join our team at Västra Vall Health Centre. In this role, you will work closely with occupational therapists, but you may also work on behalf of physiotherapists to some extent.

About the position

As a rehabilitation assistant, you play a key role in both patient-facing work and in ensuring that our premises, assistive devices, and administrative processes run smoothly. You actively contribute to creating a safe and efficient rehabilitation process for our patients.

The position involves a varied daily routine where you combine practical patient work with administrative and coordinating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fitting, issuing, and collecting assistive devices according to prescription
• Home visits for delivery and follow-up
• Fitting of simpler orthoses and paraffin wax treatment
• Information to patients
• Medical record keeping, bookings, and telephone work (TeleQ)
• Handling referrals and functional mailboxes
• Responsibility for the assistive device store and inventory
• Administrative support to the rehabilitation team

About the workplace

Västra Vall Health Centre is an attractive workplace located in the middle of Varberg, close to the train station, city center, and the sea. We are a health centre that offers residents what you should expect from your health centre, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychosocial counseling, sample collection, doctor, and nurse visits. We have a well-functioning Child Health Centre (BVC) and also manage doctor interventions at one of Varberg's nursing homes.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in healthcare or rehabilitation (meritorious)
• Is structured and responsible
• Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Thrives working both independently and in a team
• Is practical and solution-oriented
• Has a valid B-driver's license
