We need a driven person who is flexible within our team, where we currently have 18 youth coaches at 5 meeting places. If you feel this is you, then apply for this position!
Responsibilities
You will work as a youth coach within our open youth activities! Our methodology and starting point is to stimulate and support activities that are based on and require young people's own active engagement and responsibility. This means that young people should be involved in all stages of the activity, from idea, planning, and preparation to implementation and evaluation. The activity is aimed at young people aged 12–20 throughout the municipality. Falkenberg Municipality is also part of the nationwide and national network KEKS.
We are located at existing youth meeting places in the center, and we also have a mobile team working to reach more young people in rural areas. Ung Fbg also has two meeting places in residential areas where we have a safety mandate. These meeting places are for all ages. You will be placed at one of our central meeting places, but will also be available to work at our other meeting places or in our mobile team.

As a youth coach in Falkenberg Municipality, you will work based on young people's participation, influence, and learning. This means that you should stimulate and support activities that are based on and require young people's own active engagement and responsibility.
Together with colleagues and young people, you will arrange and develop youth activities that take place in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Where the young people are, there you are too, helping to coach and create a meaningful leisure time. The assignment also includes documenting the activity in the logbook.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are educated as a leisure leader, social pedagogue, or have another social education that the employer can assess as equivalent.
You have previous work experience or other experience of social or health-promoting work with young people that the employer considers relevant. We work and develop with KEKS. We would like you to have understanding and experience of using social media as a medium and tool. Other digital knowledge is meritorious as this part has increased in our profession.
As a person, it is important that you are flexible and receptive, as the work means that you must adapt daily to the needs of the young people. You are solution-focused as you find different ways and solutions to today's challenges and have the ability to build good relationships.
You also master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing, and a Category B driver's license is required. Experience working with young people is required.
We place great importance on personal suitability and that you complement the rest of the work group.
