About Us

Mäster Mikael is an independent preschool that is part of Skrattegi Preschools & Education AB. The preschool is located in the historic, beautiful neighborhood on Katarinaberget in Södermalm.

Mäster Mikael consists of three age-integrated departments for children aged 1–6. We have a functioning organization and a well-developed collaboration between the departments. Our staff consists of experienced educators; some of us have been working here for a long time, while others have joined over time.

At Skrattegi Preschools, core operations are of central importance. This means that the educator's role requires presence in the children's group during play, interests, and in-depth work – in other words, we are with the children.

About You:

We are looking for an engaged, responsive, and driven preschool teacher who has education and experience working in a preschool setting. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are responsible, flexible, familiar with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools, and have knowledge of group dynamics.

You find working in a preschool fun, exciting, and interesting. You see collaboration as a prerequisite for children's development and learning, are accustomed to building safe relationships with your colleagues as well as with families, and have a natural affinity for play and joy.
