We are now looking for a personal assistant for a fantastic 17-year-old boy

The work covers four afternoons every other week, as well as every other Sunday. Working hours may vary slightly, but are primarily between 15:30–20:00 and 13:00–17:00.

The boy is kind, positive, and cheerful, and loves drawing and playing video games. He also has a great interest in trains and airplanes.

He lives with a muscle disease and autism, which means he needs support in several parts of his daily life. This can involve help with, for example, hygiene, dressing, mobility, social interaction, and getting out to activities outside the home.

He uses a wheelchair but can walk short distances with support. Therefore, it is important that you are close by and able to support him when needed.

About you

We are looking for you who want to make a difference. For us, it is important that you:

• Are calm, secure, and have a good way of communicating.
• Have genuine commitment and want to support the boy in developing his independence.
• Can adapt to different situations and daily moods.
• Have good physical fitness as the work involves some lifting.

We would appreciate it if you had previous experience in personal assistance or work with children and young people, but the most important thing is your personality and your commitment.
