Financial Controller for Tamira
Do you thrive working in a changing organization? Are you skilled at seeing the big picture without losing focus on the details? Do you want to combine financial expertise with administration and payroll? Then this might be your next challenge!
Tamira is a local and social company that has been in operation for over 20 years and has several contracts with, among others, the City of Malmö as the main client. Tamira is part of a smaller group of companies and offers high-quality supported housing and care services for adults. The company has undergone significant changes over the past two years, and we are therefore looking for a Financial Controller who can be involved in building the new Tamira and making a difference.
Responsibilities
The role of Financial Controller will primarily involve handling ongoing tasks such as managing bookkeeping and account reconciliations, reporting on taxes, salaries, and VAT, and ensuring that regulations regarding the company and taxes are complied with and reported to the Swedish Companies Registration Office and the Tax Agency. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as annual reports. You will participate in preparing budgets and forecasts. The role also includes payroll administration for the company's employees. You will be part of Tamira's management team.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we see that you have post-secondary education focused on economics. A degree in Business Administration is an advantage. You have several years of experience in qualified work within economics, accounting, and payroll administration.
As a person, you are meticulous and enjoy having a good overview of the work as a whole, but also have the ability and interest in details. You are proactive, self-motivated, and quality-conscious in everything you do and deliver. We also value that you enjoy learning new things and are curious as a person. To thrive with us, it is important that you are positive and social, and enjoy having many contact points both internally and externally regarding customers, suppliers, and authorities.
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
We Offer
A workplace with a strong focus on quality and the opportunity to influence. A position in our operations means the opportunity to be part of a team driven by great engagement, working without hierarchy, where you can receive support and develop through a team that shares experiences and knowledge. We have collective agreements (Kommunal and Vision) with occupational pension and wellness benefits.
A certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority must be presented before the position begins.
We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please send your application by 2026-06-30. Send your application via email to: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])
Do you have questions about the position? Contact Therese Stråhle via phone at 040-6880800.
