Job Description

We are now looking for a Development Coordinator for the Local Planning Unit of the Primary School Administration!

As a Development Coordinator, you will be part of the unit's strategic planning group, which consists of three development coordinators responsible for resource planning, local needs planning, and investigative work. Over the past few years, the Primary School Administration has developed a process called resource planning. The starting point for this process is the administration's ambition to work for the best school for every student. When we prepare local needs plans and allocate places, the work is conducted based on system analysis.

In the role of Development Coordinator, you work with process development and conduct in-depth investigations related to resource and local needs planning. You lead project and reference groups, are responsible for producing project reports, and carry out investigative assignments within the administration's project organization. The work is carried out in collaboration with colleagues within the administration as well as externally. As a Development Coordinator, you will also write service matters and present cases to the administrative leadership and the board.

An important part of the assignment is to analyze and produce decision support materials regarding local planning and capacity issues. You drive the development of the unit's processes and working methods, and coordinate the need for investigations based on both strategic planning and resource planning.

As a Development Coordinator, you are also responsible for the systematic quality work of the Economic Department. In this work, you contribute to development and improvement with a focus on both your own unit and the department as a whole. You also represent the Economic Department in the administration's cross-functional groups together with education managers and other relevant functions.

In close collaboration with employees within the unit and the department, you analyze the organization's needs and produce materials that support strategic decisions and long-term development.

Together, we work for the best school for every student!

Qualifications

You, the applicant, have a university degree in a relevant field, e.g., political science, of at least 180 ECTS credits (or equivalent), as well as at least two years of experience in relevant work in the public sector. You have experience in investigative and development work and can provide concrete examples of results.

To thrive and deliver in this role, we believe you have a knack for structuring and independently driving various projects with strong analytical skills. It is also important that you are good at collaborating and building networks in your work.

You have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
