About Digitalisering IT och MT
Digitalisering IT och MT was established in January 2020 and provides support and services to the healthcare sector in Scania. The administration's mandate is to introduce a modern and cohesive digital care environment, while simultaneously operating and efficiently consolidating today's existing IT infrastructure. The mandate includes managing and supporting existing and upcoming systems, as well as ensuring operational security for Region Skåne's medical technology products (MTP) throughout their entire product lifecycle. We also assist Region Skåne's various operations and collaboration partners with technical expertise and support in medical technology-related matters.
The administration is also responsible for the fundamental care information systems, driving the development of future care information, and enabling work with digitalization and the introduction of new working methods in Region Skåne's operations.
We operate from our premises at Medicon Village in Lund, although remote work has become a natural part of our daily routine.

Responsibilities
As we are a small unit with four employees and one manager, close collaboration within the group is central to us. The workplace culture is characterized by high mutual trust, where we support and help each other in our daily work. We offer you a job where you will work closely with operations while simultaneously handling a broad range of financial management tasks within budgeting, follow-up, and forecasting.
Our goal is to be a close, service-oriented, and professional support to the operations. Together with operational managers, you will analyze outcomes and results and prepare various decision-making materials. The role involves participating in the development of operations, acting as an advisor, and representing the financial perspective. The position may also include administration-wide financial work.
In the role of Controller, you work independently to support operational managers. You belong to the administration-wide staff function, the Economy Unit, and report to the Head of Finance. Here, you will gain a large network where you collaborate closely with other controllers and managers within the administration.
Examples of your responsibilities include:
- Responsible for follow-up, analysis, and reporting according to set schedules
- Actively contribute to the leadership, development, and improvement of operations from a financial perspective
- Support operations and ensure quality in budgeting and follow-up work
- Lead and coordinate work with follow-up, budget, and forecasting for several areas
- Contribute to the development of control and financial follow-up in operations
Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a university degree in economics or equivalent education/work experience deemed comparable. Furthermore, you must have good IT skills and very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. Additionally, you should have experience working in accounting systems such as Raindance, and financial management systems such as QlikSense. You must also communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Previous experience as a controller and/or economist in the public sector, as well as work experience in change management within financial control, is considered an advantage.
You are structured and have a pedagogical ability to explain financial contexts. You can also adapt your communication and convey information clearly to the right target group. You are motivated by delving into details, while simultaneously having the ability to look up and see the entire operational area and its opportunities. Furthermore, you possess strong analytical and solution-focused skills, allowing you to both challenge and support depending on the situation and with the operation's goals in mind.

Digitalisering IT och MT comprises five operational areas with approximately 550 employees. The administration is represented at all hospital areas in Scania with its main office in Lund.
