Description
Welcome to Eriksdalsskolan's Adapted Primary School!
Knowledge. Safety. Joy.
Eriksdalsskolan is a school for grades F-9 located on Södermalm, close to both the city's pulse and beautiful natural areas. The school is vibrant, with approximately 1,000 students in grades F-9, of whom about 60 attend the adapted primary school. We have spacious and functional premises, a fantastic schoolyard with access to an artificial turf field, an ice rink, and Eriksdalsbadet in our immediate vicinity.
Eriksdalsskolan's Adapted Primary School is a unit for students with intellectual disabilities, often in combination with additional disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, physical motor impairments, ADHD). Our premises are adapted to accommodate students in all need groups.
The students at Eriksdalsskolan's Adapted Primary School are currently divided into 10 classes. The students study subjects and/or subject areas according to the curriculum for adapted primary school. Many of the students need their own educator by their side throughout the day, both at school and during leisure time. Students are taught both individually and in groups. We base our work on clarifying pedagogy together with other evidence-based methods to give our students the most favorable conditions for learning and development. The target group places high demands on pedagogical skill.
At Eriksdalsskolan's Adapted Primary School, approximately 50 employees with different backgrounds, competencies, and experience work together. We work in teams with the student's best interest always in focus.
The school leadership at Eriksdalsskolan consists of the principal, five deputy principals, and an administrative manager.
If you want to know more about us, you can find more information on our website http://eriksdalsskolan.stockholm.se (http://eriksdalsskolan.stockholm.se) and through the school's Instagram: eriksdalsskolans_medier.
