The position and responsibilities

For the autumn term, we at Falkbergsskolan in Tullinge are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in Science (NO) subjects and Technology, and have experience teaching in grades 6–9. You will be part of one of the school's four work teams and teach all Science subjects and Technology in four classes within grades 6–9.

Your duties include teaching Science and Technology, along with related tasks such as preparing for and following up on lessons, as well as grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in its collaborative work. Through active engagement in collegial collaboration, you contribute to a good learning environment. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development. You also collaborate with other staff at the school, actively participate in the school's values-based work, and work inclusively. You are keen on staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental scanning, further education, and collegial learning.

Mentorship is a central part of your role. This includes social contact regarding students and classes, communication with guardians, handling absences, development conferences, and collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you also collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Requirements:

• Certified teacher with qualifications in chemistry, biology, physics, and technology.
• Experience in teaching and mentorship in grades 6–9.
