Höglandsförbundet is a municipal association formed by the municipalities of Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. These five municipalities, located on the Småland highlands, value collaboration and know that we become stronger together. Within Höglandsförbundet, there is also the Högland Education Collaboration, which today consists of Höglandsgymnasiet with schools in Eksjö, Nässjö, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. In total, we have approximately 550 employees working to ensure that our approximately 3,000 students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future in working life or in further studies. In the summer of 2026, Högland's adult education will also join, located in Sävsjö, Eksjö, and Nässjö.

Your new job

We are looking for a teacher who can teach 3D technology and computer and communication technology. You will be part of the teaching team belonging to the Technology Programme.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and following up on teaching according to the current curriculum. You adapt the teaching to the students' individual needs and prerequisites, and actively work to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment.

About you

We are primarily looking for you who have teacher education with qualifications to teach computer and communication technology as well as 3D technology. If you have experience teaching robotics and mechatronics, it is meritorious. If you have another educational background that is relevant for teaching these subjects, as well as teaching experience, you are welcome to apply.

As a person, you easily build trusting relationships, and you lead, motivate, and create engagement and participation among students, both individually and in classroom situations. You have a good understanding that students have different ways of absorbing knowledge and can adapt your teaching based on different students' prerequisites. You take responsibility for your teaching and collaborate with your colleagues, both in subject teams, work teams, and student health teams, so that together you develop both teaching and the programme. You are flexible and see opportunities in changes.

Good to know

The position is a full-time fixed-term position during the school year 2026/2027.

To ensure that all new employees in our teaching positions have the right qualifications, we ask you to attach a valid teacher license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education that is not older than two months. For this position, a teacher license in Computer and Communication Technology is desirable.

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement according to the Education Act that you present an extract from the criminal record for work within the school. You request this extract on the police website.

If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove your citizenship. You do this by showing a valid passport or a certificate of personal data together with a valid ID document. The certificate of personal data is ordered from the Swedish Tax Agency under "My Pages". If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland, you must also be able to present a valid residence and/or work permit to work in Sweden. Employment can only take place after the work permit has been checked, in accordance with the Aliens Ordinance.
