Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a job where you make a real difference for other people every day? The Municipality of Ystad is now recruiting dedicated assistant nurses to Bellahöjden, a team within the home care service that works with people with cognitive impairments in central Ystad.

At Bellahöjden, we work closely together with the individual in focus, where collaboration, engagement, and respect permeate everything we do.

As an assistant nurse in home care, you work based on decisions of assistance and individual implementation plans to provide each user with the care and support they need. Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Personal care and hygiene.
• Social support and meaningful companionship.
• Medication management.
• Cleaning and laundry.
• Accompaniment to activities outside the home.
• Other interventions that contribute to a secure, active, and valuable everyday life.

The position also includes resource shifts, which means that you may work at other units within the municipality if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained assistant nurse and can provide proof of a protected professional title.
• Master Swedish in speech and writing (at least passing basic Swedish from elementary school Grade 9 or SFI D).
• Have good cycling skills.

Experience from home care and working with cognitive impairment is an advantage.

• Salary: Monthly salary.

• Working hours: Schedule. Day and evening shifts - with duty every other weekend.
