Day Surgery in Ängelholm belongs to the anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care area at Helsingborg Hospital. We primarily perform planned day surgery, but we also have inpatients undergoing procedures such as hip replacements, knee replacements, or back surgeries within the framework of short-term care. We perform specialized and planned surgeries within orthopedics, surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, and dentistry.

The recovery ward has twelve monitoring beds for elective and inpatient care. We admit both adults and children, during daytime hours Monday to Thursday (06:45–20:30) and Friday (06:45–17:00).

There are approximately 90 employees on the ward, and the team consists of operating room nurses, anesthesia nurses, intensive care nurses, nursing assistants, sterile technologists, and anesthesiologists. Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for you who are a nurse and have a strong interest in pre- and postoperative care!

As our colleague, you will be part of a team characterized by engagement, curiosity, and working based on our core values: welcoming, driving, caring, and respect. The work pace can sometimes be high, and we work extensively with our patient flow during the day. You will work with pre- and postoperative care, monitoring, and nursing care of patients. All documentation is done in Melior, and our surgical planning tool is Orbit.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a registered nurse with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement for the position. Experience from postoperative operations, day surgery, surgery/urology, and/or orthopedic operations is an advantage.
