Who are we looking for?

We are currently seeking a registered district nurse/nurse for municipal primary care in Åstorp Municipality. The position to be filled is within the home care service. You will work during daytime hours together with your nursing colleagues. You will be based in shared facilities for nurses in home care. You need to be confident in your profession. We offer a varied and responsible job. The work involves challenges and variation as both planned and unplanned interventions will be performed during a work shift.

You perform independent assessments, planning, and medical interventions for patients enrolled in home care, make decisions based on decision support up to the nursing level, and supervise care staff. In your work, you focus on the patient's needs, and your approach is characterized by engagement and responsiveness.

The advertised position is a fixed-term contract for 10 months with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered district nurse or nurse with experience working independently within municipal primary care. As a nurse, you are confident in your professional role and can independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks. You have the ability to make quick and clear decisions both independently and together with care staff and other relevant parties within the framework of your assignment. You enjoy working with people, show empathy and respect, and are a good listener. You have the ability to plan care for your patients both short-term and long-term. You are a good and loyal employee who contributes to a good work climate through your attitude.

Collaboration is a large part of your work and a success factor in the assignment. Personal suitability is highly valued. Experience in municipal primary care is meritorious. A driver's license is required as driving is part of the job.

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 6 months or longer (The position is for 10 months with the possibility of extension).
