About the workplace

At Centrum 2, our office is centrally located at Malmögatan 25A, and we work with clients residing in Eneborg and Olympia. You will operate from the unit's local office and travel by car or bicycle (if not within walking distance) between different clients, following a work schedule.

Job Responsibilities

With a health-promoting approach, you provide care in the form of personal support based on individual needs and conditions in clients' homes, which are equipped with digital locks. As a care assistant, you primarily work independently and provide care in the form of personal hygiene assistance, meal support, social interaction, and more.

You perform tasks delegated by nurses, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists, such as exercise interventions, medication handover, and wound dressing changes. We work in teams with these different professions.

We work with fixed care contacts, and documentation is included in the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a care assistant and have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or can certify that you had a permanent position as a care assistant on July 1, 2023. You have basic computer skills and experience with documentation. You should be comfortable working with various digital tools and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You want to and can cycle during work hours.

If you have experience working as a care assistant and are familiar with Appva, LifeCare, TES, Senior Alert, the BPSD register, and have worked with Stjärnmärkt, it is a big plus.

It is also meritorious if you have special training in palliative care, cognitive impairment, or psychiatry. A Category B driver's license is also an advantage for this position.

As a care assistant in home care, you need to be flexible, able to work independently, and have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues to solve unforeseen events that occur in daily work. As an individual, we would like you to be driven, passionate about elderly care, and eager to contribute to the development of the operations. It is important that you can work at a high pace, as there is often a lot happening in the operations during certain periods.

Working Hours: Within home care in Helsingborg Municipality, you work on a schedule where working hours are primarily located either during the day or in the evening. We are now hiring for both day and evening positions, where the current working hours are 06:45–15:15 and 14:45–23:15, respectively.
