Job Description
We welcome a nurse to join us at the Kidney, Gastrointestinal, and Intestinal Department!
In the role of a nurse, you work both in teams with other professional groups and independently, responsible for providing good care and nursing to our patients. Your tasks are varied and often include elements of medical technology. We all share a common responsibility for the patients admitted to the department. To the greatest extent possible, patients are divided into two teams, focusing on nephrology or gastroenterology. In this way, as a nurse, you round with your patients with a medical team and have good conditions for education during rounds.
With us, you are offered a stimulating work environment where opportunities for further development are a given. Our education nurse plays an active role in contributing to your competence development both short- and long-term, and you are offered continuous training initiatives based on your interests and the organization's needs.
To help you integrate into the organization and your role in the best way, we offer you an introduction adapted to your experience and needs. As an employee, you have great opportunities to help build up the department and contribute to developing our working methods. For you as a newly graduated nurse, you are offered the opportunity to participate in Region Skåne's Clinical Base Year, which is an introduction program that strengthens you in your new professional role through lectures, practical exercises, and discussion seminars.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We would appreciate it if you had experience in gastroenterology or nephrological operations, but it is not a requirement.
To thrive and succeed well in the role, we see that you are meticulous, good at prioritizing among your tasks, and have a strong commitment to the organization and want to contribute to our continued development. You also have the ability to perform your tasks independently and are flexible in your approach. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Since we are keen on finding the right person for the position, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
In this recruitment, we apply rolling selection. You are warmly welcome to submit your application today! We look forward to getting to know you.
