Orthopedic Specialist – Shoulder Surgeon at Aleris Specialist Care Malmö Arena

The Role

As a shoulder surgeon with us, you will become an important part of a cross-professional team. You will work with the investigation, treatment, surgery, and follow-up of patients with shoulder-related issues. You will see patients through care guarantees, insurance, and private care.

The role involves close collaboration with nurses, assistant nurses, and other colleagues in the team. You will also contribute to developing the operations and creating efficient and secure patient flows with high quality throughout the entire care journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting medical assessments, diagnostics, and treatments within shoulder surgery.
• Performing surgeries and following up with patients post-treatment.
• Making independent medical decisions and documenting in medical record and operation systems.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in daily patient work.
• Participating in operational development and improvement work.
• Contributing to educational and competence-enhancing initiatives.

About You

Requirements

• Specialist qualification in Orthopedics.
• Experience in outpatient clinic work.
• Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work in a structured, flexible, and solution-oriented manner.

Merits

• Experience in shoulder surgery.

Employment Terms

Employment Type: Probationary period of 6 months, followed by a permanent position.
Scope: 2–4 days per week.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. Some evening shifts may occur.
Location: Aleris Specialist Care Malmö Arena, Hyllie.
