School Nurse 20% – Business Gymnasium in Malmö

As a school nurse at the Business Gymnasium in Malmö, you work in a dynamic and close-knit organization where collaboration, respect, and care permeate the entire school. We are currently in an important phase of development where your involvement is significant, and we are making new investments in many areas. The position is currently 20% with the possibility of permanent employment and a potential increase in the future as the school grows.

Your responsibilities within student health and preventive work

• Responsible for medical interventions according to current guidelines, as well as working to promote and prevent health issues among students.
• Actively collaborate with teachers, school management, school counselor, and special needs educator to create long-term good conditions for all students.
• Conduct health conversations, simpler medical assessments, and vaccinations if necessary, as well as provide advice regarding physical and mental health.
• Clear and accessible contact with guardians and other partners regarding student health issues.
• Contribute knowledge and ideas to the school's development work, and participate in systematic quality work.

Qualifications & Personal Attributes

• Licensed nurse with specialist education as a school nurse, pediatric nurse, or district nurse.
• You see opportunities, find solutions, and have a genuine commitment to youth health and learning.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You work independently but thrive best as part of a team where community, participation, and humor are important.
• Previous experience as a school nurse and familiarity with digital record-keeping (we use Prorenata) is meritorious.
