About the Department

Within the unit Support for Operations, cross-administrative roles and responsibilities are gathered. In addition to the education area, this also includes patient safety, digitalization/IT, and operational development. This creates good conditions for cross-functional collaborations and enables synergies between the different areas of responsibility to be utilized.

Job Description

As a clinical teacher, you have a pedagogical assignment. You work with coordination, quality control, and goal-setting in collaboration with universities/colleges, upper secondary schools/adult education, and the hospital within practice-based education (VFU), workplace-based learning (APL), and learning in work (LIA).

You serve as support for employees, students, pupils, lead supervisors, supervisors, and managers. You are an important part of training, developing, and strengthening supervision when needed, and also function as support in clinical supervision/student situations. Furthermore, we want you to initiate and drive pedagogical development and introduce new models and methods for sustainable learning so that the hospital remains at the forefront. Part of this work involves planning, launching, and running clinical education rooms in collaboration with relevant units.

Your main partners are supervisors and lead supervisors at relevant operations, other clinical teachers within and outside the hospital, as well as teachers from schools and clinical adjuncts from colleges and universities. The assignment also includes representing Trelleborg Hospital in various regional forums, such as Praktikplatsen.se and VO College.

You enter the role as one of the hospital's two hospital-wide clinical teachers, who together with the education coordinator form the education organization within Support for Operations. Here, you work closely with both operations and partners to ensure a cohesive, high-quality, and future-oriented educational effort.

The assignment as a clinical teacher covers 100% employment with the possibility of clinical employment during June to August.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are a requirement. To succeed in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in clinical work within healthcare. A basic supervisor education of 7.5 credits or equivalent is a requirement for the position, and it is meritorious if you hold an advanced level supervisor education of 7.5 credits or equivalent, or another pedagogical education. A master's degree and recent clinical work are meritorious.
