Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We are now looking for more hourly substitutes for preschools and schools in Boden Municipality.

As a substitute, you will meet children and students of different ages and in various activities. In preschool, you work with children aged 1–6 together with preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special education teachers to create a safe, educational, and stimulating environment.

In primary and lower secondary school, from preschool class to grade 9, you work with students aged 6–16. The assignment may involve leading and conducting teaching based on lesson plans or supporting students in their learning during the school day.

You can work in preschool children's groups, in classrooms from preschool class to grade 9, at after-school centers (fritidshem), or as a student assistant. The tasks vary depending on the assignment and experience; it may involve supporting individual students, working together with regular staff, or independently taking responsibility for teaching based on lesson plans.

You are employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Boden Municipality's operations. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during the day.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Studying to become a preschool teacher, primary/lower secondary school teacher, or have other relevant education.
• Want to work extra when needed; full-time opportunities are available.
• Are a pensioner or have another main occupation.
• Are responsible, flexible, and have a genuine interest in the development of children and young people.
• Have good teamwork skills and are a secure and clear adult role model.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You thrive working in different workplaces, adapt easily to new routines and working methods, and contribute with a positive attitude in meetings with children, students, and colleagues.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience from preschool or school.
• Pedagogical education.
• Driver's license and access to a car (as some units are located outside central Boden).
